Teacher Workday!
While the students enjoyed a four day weekend, teachers were engaged in collaborative learning, creative planning, family conferences, and completing progress reports. Some of the professional development learning included social-emotional support using Second Step, student management using Responsive Classroom, common assessments using Performance Matters, and ways of helping engage English language learners.
